What does Handmill actually do?
It’s a file workbench: convert and resize pictures, remove hidden metadata, arrange and merge PDF pages, trim and compress video, work with audio, and create QR codes. Add a file and Handmill suggests useful fixes. It helps prepare your work for sharing and delivery.
Do you upload or keep my files?
No file content is uploaded for processing. File tools run in your browser on your device. Your account and subscription are handled online, separately from your files. You can inspect the live file-traffic readout in the app.
Why a paid subscription?
Your subscription supports the tools, their maintenance and the service behind your account. One US $5 monthly plan includes all available tools, without advertising, added watermarks or per-file charges.
Is there a file-size limit?
There is no server upload limit because your files aren’t uploaded. Your device’s memory, browser and the chosen operation set the practical limits. Very large files can need a more capable device, and some formats or codecs aren’t supported in every browser.
Can I use it offline?
Once you’ve signed in with an active subscription and the app’s required tools are cached, supported file work can continue offline. First-time loading, account changes and billing need a connection. Handmill tells you when offline support is ready.
What happens after I subscribe?
Once Stripe confirms your payment, your subscription activates and we email you a welcome message with the app address. Open app.handmillapp.com and sign in. If you leave before completing your purchase, access stays inactive and we send one reminder to help you finish.
How do I cancel?
Open Account in the app and choose Manage subscription. Stripe’s billing portal lets you manage your payment details and cancel renewal. Your account shows when your current access period ends.
